Auto Transportation Supervisor Location Jacksonville, FL : Position Summary: The Director of Global Logistics is a key leader in the Logistics and Fulfillment organization. In this role, you will create a vision for global logistics, build a strategy and ensure the talent exists to accomplish the vision. This role is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Logistics within Regal Rexnord. This role will need to ensure excellence with tactical operations for all freight movements across the globe, while also ensuring our long term strategy is not only established, but we are consistently working against achieving it. This role requires a self- starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience in building an industry leading Transportation organization. Key elements of this position are dynamic leadership, excellent data analysis capabilities, a talent developer and experience implementing best-in-class transportation tactics and strategies. As a leader at Regal Rexnord, you are expected to model our company values and be a brand ambassador. This position reports to the Vice President of Logistics & Fulfillment and interacts daily with executive leadership, while collaborating across the entire supply chain to support Regal Rexnord success. Major Responsibilities:
  • Create a Global Logistics vision, launch and drive strategic and operational initiatives to deliver on this vision, while supporting Regal Rexnord in achieving its overall company vision.
  • Ensure all required processes and procedures are in place to support distribution from raw material suppliers through customer delivery.
  • Partner with the Regal Rexnord Logistics Sourcing team to develop long term logistics supplier strategies enabling best in class customer service at the right cost. Establish a standard way of working to include shared performance scorecards, business venues, etc. to ensure accountability and improved customer experience.
  • Work collaboratively and foster strong relationships throughout Regal Rexnord including Sales, Customer Service, Fulfillment, Sourcing, HR and Manufacturing. Be customer centric with a bias towards action and improving the customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain SOP's to include full end to end process, documentation needed for delivery of goods, cadence of communication with internal / external stakeholders as to status of all shipments.
  • Maintain and analyze metrics to assess performance and identify improvements across the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Growth (SQDCG). Own the execution of project plans to ensure expected results.
  • Assess Regal Rexnord's current operational capability and develop plans to meet current and future needs.
  • Ability to complete regular financial and scenario analysis to ensure continuous improvement within Global Logistics leading with a high say / do leadership approach.
  • As Regal Rexnord's Global Logistics Subject Matter Expert, provide insights and recommendations to business segment leadership and Fulfillment Center leadership supporting business segment strategy and tactics.
  • Accountable for the complete talent development life cycle (hiring, coaching, mid-year / end-of-year performance evaluations, etc.) to include improving employee engagement and ownership.
  • Champion the Regal Rexnord Business System and be a strong continuous improvement practitioner and role model.
  • Leads and drives a continuous improvement culture.
  • Budgetary ownership for $300+ million in total Logistics spend.
  • Required Education / Experience / Skills:
    • B.S. of B.A. required (Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations). Industry certifications are a plus.
    • 7 - 10 years' experience with Ocean, Parcel, LTL, Truckload, freight forwarders and US / International logistics.
    • 10+ years' of successful experience in Logistics with accountability for transportation on a global scale.
    • Technical competency with core Logistics systems and processes (TMS, Spot Market, DOT, Import / Export Regulations, etc.).
    • Demonstrated ability to manage costs leveraging industry expertise, data and Lean processes.
    • Experience using data and analytics to measure, track and action KPI's with a bias towards action and urgency.
    • Experienced with transforming an organization into a high-performance team who is recognized as a collaborative business partner providing solutions to enable success.
    • Experience representing the corporate logistics function during customer facing interactions and venues.
    • Success establishing and leading a strong Continuous Improvement / Lean culture.
