About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Community Impact Officer (CCIO) to lead its mission of improving lives by uniting the caring power of the community. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and will be responsible for defining the organization's role in the community, setting and achieving impact goals, and managing resources to execute community engagement strategies. This role is pivotal in addressing critical community issues, with a focus on the 5 elements of a thriving community: essential needs, early childhood success, education success, economic opportunity, and health and well-being. The CCIO will be expected to inspire staff, articulate the impact of the work, and lead collaborations that advance the organization's strategic focus on equity. Candidates for the CCIO position should have 8-10 years of leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity, and a proven track record in community development, organizing, and systems-level change. The role requires a leader with emotional intelligence, the ability to build and lead high-performing teams, and a strong focus on impact analysis and outcomes. The ideal candidate will be an authentic relationship builder, an effective communicator, and a strategic thinker with experience in resource management. While not mandatory, experience in advocacy, legislative processes, and skills in conflict resolution and negotiation are desirable. The CCIO will be expected to be a trusted partner, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and to ensure that the organization's efforts are sustainable and aligned with its values and mission.
