Location: Huntington, Ronkonkoma, Medford, NY
Position Type: Full-Time On-Site
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
· 8am-330pm
· No weekends

Responsibilities:
· Evaluate, assess and screen students using appropriate standardized testing and clinical observational skills
· Responsible for the implementation of a child’s IEP/IFSP and progress toward goals.
· Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to implement the curriculum as outlined.
· Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to effectively manage classroom behaviors.
· Provide required documentation for services that your program and/or supervisor have outlined for you.
· Maintain documentation in a professional, efficient, accountable and confidential manner.
Qualifications:
· Must possess a Bachelors or Master’s Degree
· Must possess a NYSED certification in Special Education (Permanent Special Ed. or Birth-2nd grade)
· Must possess good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
· Must be able to work in a team and be a team player.
· Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals is preferred but not required.
