Job Description and Duties

The Language Policy & Leadership Office (LPLO) coordinates policies and programs and provides technical assistance to those policies and programs that utilize Title III supplemental funds in tandem with other funding sources for English learner and immigrant students.

Under direct supervision from the Education Administrator I of the LPLO and general supervision from the Director of the Multilingual Support Division, and working cooperatively with program units throughout the California Department of Education, the consultant works independently on the administration of LPLO programs that directly affect English learner, newcomer, and immigrant students, and multilingual policy within the state.

    4. Summarize your experience developing, facilitating, and delivering presentations at workshops, conferences, educational meetings, and trainings.
