Global Events Planner at Teradata in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description What You'll Do + Support in the planning of our Global Events, primarily in the US with a specific focus on virtual events, registration, attendee management, reporting and analytics. + Be responsible for one or more aspects of events execution for Global event programs including logistics and production. + Support the Events teams in preparation of data and presentations. + Project co-ordination including scheduling of meetings, notes and actions, tracking follow-up. + Create excitement and amplification for our key events through social media. Who You'll Work With + You will work closely and collaborate with the field marketing teams, content, and communications, GTM organization, and sales organization to align event participation around strategic business initiatives. + External partner vendors including production and event technology vendors. + The global marketing team from APJ, EMEA and Americas and report to the Global Events Director. What Makes You a Qualified Candidate + Minimum 2 years working on B2B events and meetings, or third party events. + Experience with Cvent or other event management software is desirable. + Undergraduate degree in a related field: event management, marketing, communications, or business. + Implement KPIs and marketing measurement techniques for event marketing. What You'll Bring + Experience in working in corporate or B2B events. + Interest in event technologies, event trends and experiential marketing. + Communication skills, including writing, proof reading and speaking. + Ability to travel domestic and international as required. + Strong skills in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Powerpoint. + Good understanding of database management.
