Ruby Vineyard and Winery is currently hiring a harvest intern for vintage 2024. Ruby Vineyard is in the Chehalem Mountains/ Laurelwood District AVA of the Willamette Valley. Located between Newberg and Hillsboro, and 40 minutes from Portland. Our estate vineyard consists of 45-year-old own rooted Pinot Noir. You will work with Pinot noir, Gamay, Chardonnay, and Alsatian varietals. We farm the estate organically in house and make wine with the intent of creating clear representations of place.
The ideal candidates will be involved in all aspects of production from sampling, processing, cap management, pressing, barrel work, some lab work, and of course cleaning. Forklift skills are a plus. Experience would be ideal but is not essential. We would like individuals who are self-starters, know how to get stuff done in a quick, safe, and thoughtful manner, and have a passion for learning and wine. While the hours will are at times long and repetitive, we do like to have fun, play our music loud, eat great food and share great wines.
