We are looking to hire an **Interior Designer** for our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO. This position will support our Design and Business Development efforts as part of a team that includes Business Unit Leaders, Marketing/Graphics Professionals, Architects, and other Interior Designers.
**Primary Responsibilities**
* Communicate with clients to understand their wants and needs, and then explain how your concepts answer them.
* Create interior design concepts using the common and essential design and documentation tools (see below).
* Collaborate with a diverse team to arrive at the best interior design solutions for the client, within the practical constraints of budget, schedule, and quality.
* Develop the 2d and 3d images and media necessary to convey interior design concepts, and then present them to the client.
* Specify finishes and furniture with a real-world understanding of their associated installation and maintenance.
* Familiarity with LEED concepts and process, and other similar sustainability ratings systems.
* Coordinate with other design and construction professionals to ensure proposed concepts can be practically executed.
* Travel on a regular basis in furtherance of project and client relationship development.
* Review submittals and shop drawings during construction.
* Visit sites in construction to help ensure expectations and standards are being met.
* Participate in industry conventions and fundraising events.
* Communicate with local product and manufacturer representatives to understand and facilitate growing yours and the teams knowledge and awareness of interior design, materials, and systems.
Key Responsibilities**Minimum Qualifications**
* Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience, plus five years of work experience holding similar primary responsibilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
* Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Enscape, Photoshop, 20/20 Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong collaborative spirit, embracing we before I.
* Understand practicalities of construction as essential to executing quality interior design.
* Understand that client satisfaction is key to team success.
