Irrigation Operations Manager

The Irrigation Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of multiple irrigation construction crews supporting residential home building and light commercial landscape / irrigation projects. The Irrigation Manager will coordinate with a staff of Area Managers assigned to oversee the Customers / Projects in their geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of irrigation projects from conception to completion
  • Irrigation System Design – TCEQ-compliant
  • City Permitting
  • Line Locates
  • Crew Scheduling
  • Order job materials
  • Oversee system installation
  • Perform system inspections / adjustments
  • Perform small irrigation repairs as necessary
  • Prepare As-Built design documentation
  • Schedule / track BPAT inspections
  • Prepare City inspection materials
  • Coordinate City Inspections and meet inspectors as required
• Maintain strong relationships with PROEARTH Area Managers
• Assure materials and equipment are available for scheduled projects
• Resolve problems or issues quickly and efficiently
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Monitor and maintain inventory of tools and equipment
• Ensure quality in all work performed
• Ensure proper documentation is complete to support customer billing

Qualifications

• Texas Irrigator License
• Five (5)+ years irrigator experience
• Proven experience as an irrigation foreman or similar role
• Knowledge of landscape construction, irrigation systems and hardscapes
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and diagrams
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks
• Driver’s license
• Computer proficiency
  • Irrigation Design Software
  • Excel
