KYC REVIEW ANALYST- OPS WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence background investigations for commercial loan borrowers in adherence with credit policy and compliance with BSA and USA Patriot Act. Responsible for the quality assurance and integrity of the "Know Your Client" (KYC) program on new and existing client relationships. Perform review and provide clearance on potential negative news alerts for new clients or during periodic client reviews. Perform prospect client reviews and provide recommendations prior to onboarding prospects as well as other referrals from line units.
What you will do
- The KYC Review (Specialist - Senior) will perform Enhance Due Diligence (EDD) reviews for commercial loan borrowers and prospect reviews utilizing a variety of internal bank systems and external research tools to investigate, research, and prepare documentation/summaries consistent with resolution of investigation. Perform timely investigations with well-reasoned and supported decision-making. Conducts follow-up with line colleagues for any missing or necessary information. Completes required training. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
- KYC - the analyst is able to perform review and clearance of potential negative news alerts on new clients and during periodic client reviews and escalate true matches accordingly.
- KYC - the analyst is able to review and verify that a Know Your Client (KYC) is completed for new accounts, and Anticipated Activity questions for Business and Individual clients with new transactional accounts.
Must-Have*- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Banking Services, branch operations, risk management or related function
- Minimum of 2 years' of BSA/AML experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience using Microsoft Office
Skills and Knowledge - Analytical skills, solid understanding of deposit and loan transactions, use of good judgment, attention to detail, internet savvy, good knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT acts. Great communication and writing skills.
Compensation Starting base salary: $25.93 - $41.43 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
