In this position, you will serve as the Social Emotional Learning in the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Center. The EDI Center's mission is to advance the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion to create the conditions for building authentic cross-cultural communities where harm is eliminated, and every person's humanity is acknowledged and valued. In this position, you will provide This position exists to provide educational leadership, program development, training, consultation, and resources to support school leaders, teachers, and student support staff which will result in schoolwide implementation of evidence-based social and emotional leading to better student academic outcomes and improve conditions for learning. A priority is to build the capacity of schools in the design, selection and/or development of appropriate evidence-based social and emotional learning (SEL) policies, frameworks, instructional content, teaching methods, professional development, and assessment of schoolwide implementation as a key strategy for addressing student behavior and conditions for learning.
Four (4) years of experience supporting, implementing or leading the development of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) evidence-based practices in PreK-12
OR
A master’s degree may substitute for 18 months of experience; a bachelor’s degree may substitute for one (1) year of experience with four (4) years of professional experience supporting, implementing or leading the development of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) evidence-based practices in PreK-12
