My client is looking for a Overnight Warehouse Supervisor in Vernon. The Overnight Operations Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the night shift operations of the warehouse. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling, storage, and distribution of our food products. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Overnight Warehouse Manager to join their team. Description Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates during the overnight shift. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates. Operational Management: Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of food products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Implement and enforce proper inventory control procedures to minimize losses and discrepancies. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment. Conduct regular safety training sessions and drills for warehouse staff. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to guarantee the integrity of food products during storage and handling. Perform regular inspections of the warehouse to identify and address any issues affecting product quality. Technology and Systems: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and optimize inventory levels. Collaborate with the IT department to address any technical issues related to warehouse operations.
